Can I earn college credit by attending the Train-the-Trainer program?

Yes, credit is available through the University of Massachusetts Global (UMass Global), which is fully accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). You’ll have the opportunity to earn up to four graduate-level professional development credits upon completion of follow-up practicum projects and payment of an additional fee.

After becoming a trainer, am I authorized to offer college credit to my school or district colleagues during my training sessions?

Yes. After successfully completing the Train-the-Trainer program and under the direct guidance of our PhD experts, you will be certified to offer CEUs through the University of Massachusetts Global (UMass Global), accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). Your students will have the chance to earn up to four graduate-level professional development credits upon finishing follow-up practicum projects and payment of an additional fee.

Attendance for the entire duration of the training is mandatory for all participants.

After becoming a trainer, am I authorized to offer professional hours or clock hours to my school or district colleagues during my training sessions?

*Yes, with considerations. After successfully completing the Train-the-Trainer program, you’ll be certified to offer our course for professional hours, such as Professional Development Credits (PDCs), Continuing Professional Education (CPE), In-Service Credits, Renewal Units (RUs), Contact Hours, Continuing Education Credits (CECs), and more.

*While the application process for these professional hours to the appropriate state agency will be your responsibility, we’re committed to supporting you throughout this easy process. Together with one of our PhD training experts you will be listed on the application and state awarded course number. Additional follow-up practicum projects and payment of associated fees may be required.

Are training materials included?

Yes, unlike most onsite training sponsors, we offer our certified trainers a professionally printed curriculum set, complete with a comprehensive Resource Training Manual. As a certified trainer, you’ll also have access to award-winning supplemental materials designed to enhance your staff training sessions. All supplemental curriculum aligns with the course objectives and further enriches the outcomes. This means your staff can acquire world-class curriculum resources for their training needs at significantly reduced costs

What if our school does not have a full day available for training?

Your trainer can work with you to develop a plan that best meets your campus needs. This means that you may be able to break up the training day into smaller units over a period of time. 

After the Train-the-Trainer, how will I/my school be able to use this content?

Your staff: Your colleagues can use any of the Time To Teach® strategies, books and resources in their classrooms the next day.

You: Upon completing the three-day Train-the-Trainer program, you will gain authorization to deliver the Time To Teach® curriculum to the staff or district within your school employment.

Can the teachers I train subsequently be considered Time To Teach® trainers themselves?

No, as the authorized trainer, you are the sole individual permitted to conduct training sessions. Participants, such as your colleagues, are legally regarded as ‘end users.’ They are allowed to apply the strategies learned in their classrooms but are strictly prohibited from teaching our proprietary content or intellectual property.
